3 Wins in the MYAS Sunday Super Saver

In the second tournament of the season, the Minnesota Xplosion went 3-0 winning each game in convincing fashion. The tournament was an MYAS Super Saver and the purpose was to fine tune the offense and defense. All three games served their purpose as the Minnesota Xplosion was able to surge to large early leads and then concentrate on running an effective offense and deny defense.

Game 1 against Triple Threat finished up 48-33 behind Rick Starck's 10 points. Mike Rovansek and Anthony Webber both had 8.

Game 2 was much like the first as Xplosion beat North Metro Renegades 64-31. Rick Starck again led all scorers with 15. Jordan Reibling had 13 and Brent Walker 8.

Game 3 was slightly closer but finished just the same. Xplosion over Wear Out the Net 55-46. Jordan Reibling dropped 21, Mike Rovansek had 10 and Brent Walker with 8.

Next up Minnesota Xplosion will be hosting a MYAS Invitational at Champlin Park High School and will play in the 17U/19U bracket. This will be the final warm-up tournament before the Minnesota Xplosion begin the more grueling schedule that lies ahead.
